Priority Enrollment: Enroll into courses before open enrollment begins. Priority enrollment decreases the chances of courses being full.
Academic Maps: Download a .pdf of academic map to serve as a semester-by-semester guideline for selecting the courses needed.
Academic Advisor Appointments: Required to meet with their academic advisor once a semester to ensure proper courses are being selected. No need to worry about getting off track or investing in unnecessary classes!
Course Availibility: If you find a course that you need to complete your degree plan isn't available, email needaclass@uh.edu for more help.
Option for Fixed Rate Tuition: The fixed 4-year tuition rate means you can lock in your tuition rate for all 4 years. There's no worrying or guessing about potential tuition rate increases.
Both freshman and transfer students have the option to be placed into the fixed rate tuition. This option is offered as a budgeting tool to help students and parents accurately prepare their educational budget by establishing the same tuition rate for four years and eliminating uncertainty about future tuition increases
