Zeph Farmby lives and works in New Haven. Raised in Chicago's south side, Zeph started writing graffiti, creating logos and murals for small businesses as a teenager in the 1990's. He further developed is artistry with independent studies the Art Institute Chicago.

During his studies at the American Academy of Art, Zeph broadened his understanding of art history , while adding acrylic oil paintings, graphic design, illustration to his skill-set.

However, Zeph never turned his back on his original love for hip hop and continued his practice of Graffiti in more formal art environments. Prior to graduating from the American Academy of Art in Chicago, he was commissioned for two large-scale projects for companies in the area. He would continue to create illustrations for local magazines and graphic designs for T-shirts and other promotional materials.
