Virgin Falls State Natural Area
Virgin Falls is a 1156-acre natural area in White County. The area protects the northern part of Scott's Gulf, the Caney Fork River gorge. The park's namesake is Virgin Falls, a geologically unique waterfall that flows out of a cave, drops 110 feet into a sinkhole and disappears into the ground.
