Tahiti Waterfalls

Tahiti has some fantastic waterfalls. I've visited a few in Papenoo Valley.

Cascade Puraha:

Waterfall GPS: -17.58542,-149.41949

Cascade Puraha is a waterfall on the east side of the valley that flows into a lake at a hydroelectric dam. It is a few kilometers south of Cascade Vaiharuru between kilometer markers 10 and 11.

Cascade Vaiharuru:

Waterfall GPS: -17.56985,-149.43440

Cascade Vaiharuru is a waterfall on the west side of the valley a few kilometers after you enter the valley, around kilometer marker 6.

Cascade Vaimahuta:

Waterfall GPS: -17.53487,-149.39946

Just outside of Papenoo Valley and to the east is Trou du Souffleur de Arohoho, a blow hole and black sand beach. Across the street from the beach is a short road leading to the Faarumai Waterfalls. A sign directs visitors to the right and a short five-minute walk to Cascade Vaimahuta.

Unnamed Waterfall:

Waterfall GPS: -17.60107,-149.41635

I don't know the name of this one, but it is right along side the road, a few kilometers south of Cascade Puraha near kilometer marker 12.
