In this unit, you will examine the foundations of neuroscience, including further exploration into bodily systems to explain how the human nervous and endocrine systems enable a person to interact with the world around them. Using the biopsychosocial framework, you will also explore both infectious and non-infectious diseases impact the brain and body, and wider community.
Throughout this elective, you will also enhance and refine your scientific research skills through the application of research projects and experiments. Studying the human brain, body and behaviour will not only prepare you for a range of exciting and rewarding careers but help you navigate the world around you.
