Youth health is an elective that provides essential knowledge for youth to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Students explore youth health issues including Alcohol and Drugs, Mental health and Sexuality and Relationships. Students will investigate factors that contribute to youth health outcomes and will investigate health promotion programs and Australia’s health care system to support these issues. Students will learn to use data to investigate the health status among youth across a range of conditions.
