In the elective, Design Workshop, students work through the design process to resolve object based design problems, which employ good design principles. We explore traditional and contemporary furniture making practices to produce your own piece of furniture - designed and made by you! 

Students work creatively using hands on problem solving techniques, which are delivered using a range of technological devices, such as laser cutting, 3D printing and furniture joinery techniques.

 If you enjoy hands on learning, problem solving and working with a range of different materials you will love this elective.
