"You got your coins ready, champ?"

Tekko is a well-known tax evader on the Lava planet. His repeated attempts to avoid paying what he owes eventually became enough of a problem that the authorities came up with an unusual solution, put him in charge of supervising the taxes himself. The idea was simple. By keeping him close to the system, they could monitor him more easily and catch him breaking the rules. Unfortunately, the plan backfired spectacularly. Tekko now has an intimate understanding of how the tax system works and continues to find new ways to cause problems. Whether through genuine cleverness or sheer audacity, Tekko has become a persistent headache for William and those responsible for keeping the Lava planet's finances in order. Perhaps one day he'll finally stop finding new ways to screw with the emperor and focus some of that attention on his own responsibilities, particularly his little mutant son.
