PEPO

Pepo is a small creature who serves as Nina's loyal talisman. Despite this, he is more commonly known by another title, Nina's weird kid. Nina frequently jokes that Pepo is her son, a joke she has apparently committed to so thoroughly that she sometimes treats him like one. Whether Pepo understands the joke or simply tolerates it, is difficult to say. He is a quiet and observant little creature with a distinctly judgmental presence, often communicating more through a prolonged stare than through words. Despite his small stature, Pepo takes his position seriously and is well aware of the authority that comes with serving someone of Nina's status.
