Daine is a resilient and practical leader who has guided the Shadows through some of their most turbulent times. As their leader, she forged a peace alliance with Fiona that once seemed impossible, bringing stability to a colony long accustomed to conflict and uncertainty. While Daine's relationship with magic is an unusual one. A rare channeling disability prevents her from safely wielding it, as attempting to channel magic through her body can cause her to collapse and in severe cases, prove fatal. Rather than allowing this limitation to define her, Daine has learned to rely on her own strength and resourcefulness, proving that leadership does not require magic.

Daine's attire is built for practicality, with sturdy leather boots, pale jeans and a white turtleneck beneath a brown hoodie. A leather chestplate offers additional protection, while fingerless leather gloves and a belt-mounted holster keep her portal gun securely at her side. A red bandana around her neck adds a small splash of color. Daine keeps her wavy black hair short, ensuring it never gets in her way. Her silver eyes are subtly mismatched, with the right appearing lighter due to the scar crossing it, leaving its pupil cloudy white. Simple black stud earrings complete her look.
