"Keeping folks safe is what I do best."
Shat has built much of his life around protecting others. Despite his busy life, his greatest devotion remains with his family. Shat loves his wife just as deeply as the day they first met, ironically, as enemies on opposite sides of a battlefield. What began as an unlikely encounter eventually grew into a relationship so well known that their love story has become something of a legend. His demanding responsibilities don't always leave Shat as much time with his children as he would like, but he makes an effort to create moments with them whenever he can. He particularly enjoys training with his son, Sangre. When his responsibilities take him elsewhere, Shat trusts his younger brother Claide to look after his children. The two brothers may not always see eye to eye, but Shat knows that when it truly matters, Claide is someone he can rely on. No matter how chaotic their adventures become, Shat trusts him to keep his family safe.
