Shymai's origins remain a mystery. He was initially mistaken for a creature native to the Shadow forest, until John recognized that he was, in fact, a lost child from his own world. Despite countless attempts to uncover Shymai's past, no one has been able to determine where he originally came from, how he ended up on the Shadow planet or whether he has a family somewhere still searching for him. For Shymai himself, these unanswered questions matter far less. With no memories of his life before being found, Shymai has happily embraced Claide and John as his dads. Although Shymai is still unable to communicate in English, he makes his feelings clear in his own way.

APPEARANCE

Shymai is a tiny bipedal creature covered in warm black fur. Bright red markings line his neck, wrists, ankles and fluffy ears, while the insides of his little hands and feet feature adorable heart-shaped pads. He has black eyes with vivid red irises and white pupils. Shymai is often seen hovering with the help of his magma-like wings, which sprout from the open back of his shirt. His outfit consists of a simple black T-shirt with red accents along the sleeves and hem, paired with gray pants and knee-high boots featuring the same red detailing. Behind him trails a long, cable-like tail with a small red flame burning at the tip.
