Lex has inherited much of his father's skepticism, sharing Chuck's belief that dreams are best left as fantasies. He was never supportive of his mother's ambitions for a family band. Now that his mother, together with his brother, Max, have found someone who encourages her dreams, Lex finds himself increasingly bitter toward the life they have built without him. Beneath his disdain for their music may lie something he is less willing to admit.
