"Ridiculous, this is all so ridiculous."

Rick is one of the known veterans of the Eclipse war, having fought from the beginning to the very end. His years of service eventually earned him the title of honorary Elite, though the countless battles and amount of magic he used throughout the war came at a cost. The strain placed on his body, combined with injuries that left permanent damage, eventually led Rick to request retirement. These days, he prefers a quieter life. At least, that's the idea. Despite officially retiring, Rick still has a habit of stepping in whenever people need help. Old instincts are difficult to leave behind and when a situation calls for someone experienced enough to handle it, he rarely stands by and does nothing. Because of this, many people still regard him as one of the Elites, retirement or not.
