One of the student' tasks in the S. O. S. project was to find out what the needs are in the different communities. To determine the procedure, brainstorming was necessary. Then the students decided to create different flyers, in which they presented the project, the objectives and themselves. With these flyers they visited various public institutions, such as old people's homes, kindergartens, schools and municipal administrations and presented their ideas. In this way, they collected first impressions of the different types of tasks to be accomplished in the immediate vicinity.
These results should be used to create a general needs analysis survey.
Due to this first campaign and the associated word of mouth, the school has already received numerous inquiries and tasks (see recent results) from the surrounding communities. Due to the large number of tasks, the students directly involved in the project decided against a general survey. Instead, they created detailed questionnaires (Google forms) in which they specifically query the needs of retirement homes, kindergartens and associations, since these tasks can be performed by all school students.
