I thought about all the things that I must do during the week. For example, I have to complete my homework, and what my teacher requested me to do. I read specific texts each week. I made a list of five of these tasks in the first box of my plan. Then, consider all the things that I like to do during the week. I like to watch the news and learn new words and expressions; I like to watch plays and games too. So, I wrote a list five of these tasks in my lesson plan.
After I've listed the tasks, I assigned a priority number in the boxes beside each task in my plan template. Of course, I assign number one to the most important task and continue to rank tasks in order of importance.

Goal-setting is an important process. You should set goals that are specific, challenging, and attainable. Set long-term goals, then come up with a list of smaller steps that lead toward attaining them. Use these steps to build a “goal map” of short-term goals that lead to your final goal.
LS10 Setting goals

3. How can I state my goals in a specific way?
4. What goals should I give priority to?
5. How can I break my long-term goals into short-term ones?
6. How am I going to break my short-term goals into small, achievable steps?
7. What time limits am I going to set on each step?
8. How will I know that I have met my short-term goals?
___
"Increase my vocabulary" is not a specific goal.
