Very often I get into discussions with the customer service of various companies, organizations, and institutions. What really bothers me is that what they think my (user) experience is, is not what my (user) experience is. The bickering back and forth, the overly large amounts of sending evidence, and then still being fought on that evidence is horrific. Also, people are very bad at connecting the dots, essentially seeing it through my eyes.
Slowly but steadily it becomes accepted to submit video evidence (ideally as cloud links) but especially governmental institutions are notoriously resisting this possibility on the grounds of safety and privacy. Because what is at stake for me is high I cannot afford a 'no' or being disregarded.
Because I value truth over perceived safety and privacy and force the Dutch government into serving its citizens with fair laws instead of the other way around having citizens fight off bad laws that haunt them.
