Q: What year were you born? 

A: I was born in 1991. 

Q: What were some challenges you faced growing up? 

A: I always had challenges fitting in with people. 

Q: What college did you go to? 

A: I went to UTRGV in 2017. I’m still there because I’m working on my master's degree. 

Q: What made you decide to become a teacher? 

A: I wanted a job that was fulfilling and made a difference--something that I felt was important. 

Q: What do you like about being a teacher? 

A: Everything. I really enjoy everything about teaching. Except for all the meetings. 

Q: Who was your inspiration to teach? 

A: My 6th grade teacher. She really cared about her students. 

Q: What makes you a good teacher? 

A: I’m pretty understanding and empathetic. I’d say it's because I really care about my students.
