The festival started with a sunset view outside the pavilion, and there were stands everywhere. Some stands were booming with people, and some had almost no people. Hundreds of people were excited about the haunted house. I was in line for a full hour to get inside.
Once my friends and I were inside the 300 hundred wing, where the haunted house was, they began with the exciting part. There was a man with a chainsaw chasing us. We were not that scared, but the two girls nearby kept screaming. If they saw a wall, they would scream, and if they saw a door, they would scream. Soon after that, we headed to the library, which was the most exciting part. There was a girl dressed as The Rake. She said my name to scare me, but she made me laugh instead. Once we left the haunted house, my friends and I rated how scary it was. We decided that the haunted house was an 8/10.
After the haunted house, we bought tickets to play games in the stands surrounding the parking lot. I attempted to play soccer in a booth, but I only scored one goal. My friend missed several goals too. We finished playing soccer then got some more tickets and met some other friends who came to the fall festival. We saw a dunk tank nearby and decided to give it a shot.
My friends and I waited in line for a while because many people were waiting to dunk the teachers. Once I got my chance in line, I missed the first shot. It was about 10 yards away. I almost hit the target on the second try, but I did not throw the ball hard enough. On the final shot, I hit the target and made Mr. Khine fall into the cold water. After I dunked Mr. Khine, my friend tried dunking him as well, but he missed all three shots. He missed all the shots because he used “his method”, a curve ball. I told him it wouldn’t work, but he decided to do it anyway.
After the dunk tank, my friends tried to put me in jail. The jail at the festival is a big square of caution tape, and you have to put a slap bracelet on someone to admit them to jail. I had three people chase after me to put me in the festival’s jail. I outran them the first two times, but I gave up the third time. Once I was released from the slammer, one of my friends was put in jail because my friend betrayed him by putting him there, so I got revenge and caught him. He begged people to bail him out, so I extended his time in jail to prove a point. He learned his lesson. Afterward, we all went home.
When I got home, I realized that I had injured my leg because of all the running I did, but after a few days of rest, I was as good as new. I had a really good time at the Fall Festival, but it lacked several activities. Overall, I would rate the experience as 8/10.
