FUTURE OF ENERGY
The Center envisions the Future of Energy to be clean, efficient, and affordable and therefore would conduct interdisciplinary research on energy systems optimization, distributed energy systems, energy efficiency, and energy modeling, and forecasting. Opportunity for collaboration is open to researchers from the College of Engineering, College of Science, College of Computer and Information Sciences, College of Social Sciences and Development, and Institute of Technology.
FUTURE OF BUILDING
The Center envisions the future of buildings to be sustainable, affordable, smart, and disaster resilient and therefore would conduct research on sustainable, affordable, smart, and resilient building materials and design. Opportunity for collaboration is open to researchers from College of Engineering, College of Architecture, Design, and the Built Environment, College of Computer and Information Sciences, and Institute of Technology.
FUTURE OF FOOD
The Center recognizes that in the advent of changing climate that causes calamities and pandemics, food security is of vital importance and therefore the center would facilitate and promote interdisciplinary research on algae-based and fungi-based food, synthetically grown or 3D printed meat, plant-based meat alternatives, etc. that would ensure food security for every Filipino in the future no matter the circumstances. Opportunity for collaboration is open to researchers from the College of Engineering, College of Science, College of Computer and Information Sciences, College of Social Sciences and Development, and Institute of Technology.
FUTURE OF MENTAL HEALTH
The Center recognizes the growing problem of mental health in Filipino Society and therefore would conduct, facilitate, and promote interdisciplinary research that would address the growing challenges in solving the problem of mental health in the Philippines. Opportunity for collaboration is open to researchers from the College of Engineering, College of Science, College of Computer and Information Sciences, College of Social Sciences and Development, and Institute of Technology.
FUTURE OF BUSINESS
The Center wanted to create a future of business that empowers and enrich communities therefore focusing its interdisciplinary research on how to better social enterprise, non-profit ventures and closing the economic inequity. Opportunity for collaboration is open to researchers from the College of Business, College of Social Science and Development, College of Engineering, and College of Computer and Information Sciences.
FUTURE OF EDUCATION
The Center acknowledges how the pandemic fastened the technology induced disruption in how we conduct and facilitate learning and education, thus the Center would conduct and facilitate interdisciplinary research on different approaches and medium to conduct teaching and learning activities that is conducive, efficient, and effective to the 21st century learners. Opportunity for collaboration is open to researchers from College of Education, College of Communication, College of Engineering, College of Computer and Information Sciences, College of Social Sciences and Development, and Institute of Technology.
FUTURE OF HUMAN KINETICS
The Center wanted to improve human kinetics through interdisciplinary research that would improve human health and performance. Opportunity for collaboration is open to researchers from the College of Huan Kinetics, College of Engineering, College of Science, College of Computer and Information Sciences, and Institute of Technology.
FUTURE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The center would conduct, facilitate, and promote interdisciplinary research on different possible applications of artificial intelligence in all the disciplines in the University. Therefore, the opportunity for collaborative research is open to researchers from all the colleges in the University.
FUTURE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE RESEARCH LABORATORY (FAIR LAB)
Fair Lab is intended to be used by researchers from different disciplines who wanted to study the advantage of utilizing artificial intelligence in the systems or processes they are studying upon.
