INSTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION
The Research Center for Indigenous Peoples Studies (CIPS) under the Research Institute for Human and Social Development is the lead unit that undertakes special research projects and case studies on Indigenous Peoples or Indigenous Cultural Communities. Part of its mandate is to raise people’s awareness and consciousness on IP culture in the urban setting and create a research hub of IP resources, references, research materials and a venue for researchers to collaborate and share available resources for an in depth knowledge of the IPs.
Serves as a venue for researchers related to Indigenous Peoples Studies to collaborate, coordinate, and provide support to its activities spearheaded by its Chief.
Develops plans and programs on Indigenous Peoples research and case studies in the University
Builds data hub on Indigenous Peoples or Indigenos Cultural Communities researches and studies in addition to its own studies
Undertakes activities such as conferences, symposia, forum, lectures and other activities to promote IP awareness and in the University
Representation of Devotions to the Black Nazarene: A Case Study of the Confraternity of “SenyorSubasob of Bangkusay” (Awaiting Budget Release)
