SOO Culture Team Concept: Managing After-Effects of Weather Events

All individuals in the office will feel after-effects of severe weather events. Even non-feelers still feel, they just do so in different ways. It’s important as a manager to not put people in a Myers-Briggs box. We are all human. Loss of life and property while on shift is difficult - no matter who we are!

Two Components of After-Effects

  • Internal (in the office): How do we work with each other? How do we help each other?

  • External (outside the office): The sights, the smells, the rawness of loss.
