The Next Excellence Wave 800+ (NEW800+) is a strategic portfolio I conceived and launched with the vision of elevating DEWA’s performance and achieving an 800+ score in the Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP) 2026.

The portfolio is chaired by DEWA’s MD & CEO, and I was honoured to serve as the Portfolio Manager, leading this transformative initiative that integrates innovation, excellence, and strategic alignment across the organization.

With 27 strategic excellence themes, 37 excellence programs, and over 130 key projects, NEW800+ represents a carefully orchestrated journey of organizational excellence. Each initiative follows a seven-phase project management approach—from results review and improvement activities to rehearsals, mock assessments, DGEP preparation, and lessons learned—ensuring effective execution, measurable impact, and full alignment with DEWA’s purpose.

Through AI-driven portfolio management, NEW800+ streamlines reporting, communication, and oversight, keeping the Chairman (MD & CEO), steering committee, and program managers fully informed and empowered to make timely, data-driven decisions.
