Module 2: Crafting Evaluator Program Descriptions
Building on Module 1’s exploration of evaluation basics, Module 2 challenged us to think like an evaluator.
We identified our evaluation topics; here, we considered how to frame and articulate the problem it addresses.
This module guided us through developing a problem statement and creating our very own evaluator's program description. This process was crucial for clearly defining our goals and the scope of our evaluation project.
We explored needs assessments and root-cause analysis, and we applied what we've learned by creating an Evaluator Program Description (EPD) for our educational technology program. We also practiced clearly presenting our evaluation plan using digital tools and engaging in peer feedback to strengthen our evaluative thinking.
I went with Option 1, I did a PowerPoint and voiced it over, here it is below!
