My Unique Knowledge, Lived Experience, and Professional Insight

My Knowledge

Over the years, I have developed knowledge through formal learning, practical experience, and continuous improvement. These are the subjects I understand deeply enough to teach others.

Leadership Development

I have spent years learning and applying leadership principles in complex business environments. I understand how leaders influence others, make difficult decisions, build trust, and develop high-performing teams.

I can teach:

Professional Coaching

I have invested more than three years studying coaching and applying coaching principles in real conversations. Coaching has changed the way I solve problems because I now focus on helping people discover their own answers rather than simply giving advice.

I understand:

Agile Ways of Working

My background in project management has given me practical experience implementing Agile ways of working across multiple organisations.

I understand:

Project Management

For many years I have managed large, complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, budgets, and international teams.

I understand:

Business Growth

While building my coaching business, I have learnt how to create and market educational products and services.

I understand:

Continuous Improvement

Throughout my career I have applied Lean thinking and systems thinking to improve processes, projects, and organisational performance.

I understand:

My Lived Experience

My greatest lessons have not come from books alone. They have come from the experiences that shaped my life and changed the way I think.

Reinventing Myself

After many years of successful contracting, I experienced six months without work. Instead of waiting for another opportunity, I decided to reinvent myself.

Rather than seeing unemployment as the end of my career, I saw it as an opportunity to build something meaningful through coaching, speaking, and education.

This experience taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of creating multiple income streams.

Preparing Before a Crisis

Several years before my contracts ended, I invested in coach training because I believed everyone should have a backup plan.

When the market changed, I already had another skill that allowed me to pivot.

Today, I encourage others to prepare for change before they are forced to change.

Managing Financial Pressure

During unemployment I experienced significant financial pressure.

I had credit card debt, school fees to pay, household expenses, responsibilities towards my family, and the challenge of supporting my elderly mother.

Although those months were difficult, I continued learning, improving myself, and building for the future instead of giving up.

Becoming a Better Communicator

Communication was never something I took for granted.

I deliberately worked on improving my public speaking, storytelling, coaching conversations, and sales communication because I believe communication is one of the most valuable professional skills anyone can develop.

Helping People Discover Their Own Answers

One of the biggest lessons coaching has taught me is that lasting change happens when people arrive at their own conclusions.

Rather than solving people's problems for them, I help them think differently by asking better questions.

This approach creates ownership, confidence, and sustainable change.

Building During Uncertainty

While facing uncertainty in my own career, I continued building workshops, coaching programmes, training courses, educational content, tenders, and marketing systems.

That experience reinforced my belief that progress is created through consistent action, even when the future is unclear.

My Professional Insight

Throughout my career I have developed practical systems and approaches that consistently produce results.

Leading Complex Projects

I have successfully led complex technology and business projects involving international teams, large budgets, security initiatives, retail systems, SAP Commerce upgrades, payment platforms, and organisational change.

These experiences taught me how to deliver results under pressure while managing competing priorities.

Coaching High Performance

Through coaching I have helped people gain clarity, build confidence, overcome limiting beliefs, improve accountability, and become more effective leaders.

I understand that sustainable performance begins with greater self-awareness.

Leading Organisational Change

I have seen why many change initiatives fail.

Successful transformation requires leadership alignment, clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and creating an environment where people feel involved rather than controlled.

Facilitation

One of my strengths is facilitating conversations that help people think better together.

Whether I am leading workshops, retrospectives, strategy sessions, or coaching conversations, my goal is to create clarity, collaboration, and action.

Learning Design

I enjoy taking complicated subjects and making them simple enough for anyone to understand.

Whether I am teaching Agile, coaching, leadership, Lean thinking, affiliate marketing, or project management, I focus on practical frameworks that people can immediately apply.

My Core Frameworks

The following ideas have become the foundation of the way I teach and coach others.

Awareness Before Action

People cannot change what they do not first recognise.

Questions Are More Powerful Than Advice

The best solutions are often discovered through thoughtful questions rather than being told what to do.

Systems Beat Motivation

Long-term success comes from building systems and habits instead of relying on motivation alone.

Preparation Creates Opportunity

The more we invest in ourselves before a crisis, the more options we have when circumstances change.

Leadership Is About Growing People

Great leaders develop people, create opportunities, and build environments where others can succeed.

Continuous Improvement Never Ends

Every person, team, process, and organisation can improve through small, consistent changes over time.

People Support What They Help Create

The best change happens when people are involved in creating the solution instead of having change imposed on them.

My Unique Value Proposition

I help individuals, leaders, coaches, and organisations unlock higher performance by combining coaching, leadership development, Agile thinking, project delivery, and systems thinking into practical frameworks that create lasting behavioural change.

Drawing on years of experience leading complex projects and rebuilding my own career, I teach people how to become more self-aware, communicate with influence, lead confidently, and build systems that create sustainable success.

What I Believe I Am an Expert In

Looking across my knowledge, experience, and career, I believe my expertise lies at the intersection of five areas:

This combination allows me to bring together coaching, leadership, business, project management, and continuous improvement into practical frameworks that help people create meaningful and lasting change in both their professional and personal lives.
