One of our families volunteered to host a bake sale and is requesting donations if possible. Mom Esther and Tessa would like to volunteer to run a bake sale table at the 3v3 event with all proceeds going to pediatric cancer research.

Lady Patriots vs Quakers

Patriots are back with DVHL action this past weekend. In a shooting frenzy on the Patriots side with 44 shots on net. During the second period A. Richards found L. Thomas on a cross slot pass and Thomas found the back of the net sliding the puck right pass the Quakers goalie. 

Third period saw attempts from Quakers to take the lead but they were only able to slip 1 passed M. Goldsmith, Goldsmith denied 19 shots from the Quakers including two major saves in Overtime! 

Patriots found themselves in the third line change of the overtime and an offensive zone face off, Thomas got herself open on the left side of the goalie and was able to shoot far side and snuck the puck in right along the right side post to secure the Patriots the win! 

Lots of growth to come with this team and the future is bright, grab your sunglasses and jump on the train!

14UAA Game Recap 9/23

Lady Patriots 14UAA traveled to Long Island Saturday for a league game and then a scrimmage against the Lady Islanders. The MAWHA league game was first, and ultimately resulted in very physical 0-4 loss. Although LP committed six of the 11 total penalties, Lady Patriots continue to do well on the penalty kill, with only one of five resulting in a goal for the lady Islanders. Shout out to forwards and players of the game K Wenhold and A Primich for creating offensive pressure and consistent back checking.

Later that day, Lady Patriots and Lady Islanders played a 2nd non-league game, another extremely physical match up with 11 penalties between the two teams. LP came out strong in the first period, which ended 0-0, however LI scored three goals in the second period, pulling ahead. Defender A. Amato started the third off with a LP goal, assisted by P Hartz and M O’Neill. The score remained 1-3 until Long Island scored their fourth and final goal.

A big shout out to forward and player of the game A. Meoli who continues to play smart physical hockey, always focused on puck possession. Another shout out to goalie R. Swidorski who remains strong in net, stopping 38 out of 42 shots on goal.
