On Saturday morning, the 14A team traveled up the NJ Turnpike to face off against league rivals NJ Devils Youth. Despite having a short bench, the girls were able to control the flow of the game and skate away with an impressive 3-0 win!
The offense was lead by L. Neary (2G, 1A) and E. Wiesner (1G, 1A). E. Gorniak chipped in an assist and L. Sullivan was excellent at moving the puck around for the offense and even played some defense in the third period to secure the win.
With only 3 players on defense, the trifecta of M. Stutz, G, Secules, and 12A callup Q. Gorniak shutdown the Devils Youth forwards blocking many shot attempts, stealing pucks, and holding the Devils to only 11 shots for the game.
MVP of the game went to A. Gurt who earned her first ever shutout by blanking the Devils on a handful of quality shot attempts with some spectacular kick saves!
The 14A team travels back up to northern NJ on Saturday to face the Montclair Blues on Saturday followed by a home rematch against the Devils Youth on Sunday.

We are working with Elevated Athletics to bring a unique training experience to our goalies. Training started the first week of practices and we can't wait to see the progress our goalies make!

Our athletes began an 8 week program to build up their speed, agility, and strength! We can't wait to watch the growth!

We know! It's October! As we look at our season, November 20th will come quickly. Last year our Free Holiday Shop was able to help 51 families with 117 children. Santa even showed up! We are looking to build on this in the upcoming season!

Gifts from infants through 18 are needed, boys and girls

The Lady Patriots had a short bench this past Saturday, coming to the game with 7 players but came out battling hard as the Patriots ended the first period with a one goal lead.
The Bobcats put on the pressure for the next two periods and defeated the Patriots 8-3.
The goal scorers for the Patriots were A. Schnarr (2) and J. Mazza (1).
The Lady Patriots look to getting their first win next game at Revolution Ice Gardens, Sunday 10/17 against the Freeze.

Lady Patriots White had their first game of the season on 10/10 against the Lightning!
First period was a little rocky to start, as it was the first time the whole team hit the ice together, and giving up a goal in the first.
Going into the second period, the team found the Lightning's defensive weakness and had a strong push into the offensive zone, with J. Caggiano having the most shots on net and S. Neurburg ringing the top shelf but unable to drop the puck in.
They maintained a heavy push into the third, but The Lady Patriots let up a second goal, with just not enough time to recover Lightning on a break away.
K. Bohr turned away 14 of the Lightning 16 shots.
Overall, the team had fun and will continue to fine-tune their lines and come back stronger for their second game on 10/31, in their lead up to their home opener on 11/21.
