It’s good, it makes you want to keep reading which is always good - there are a few times where you used “passed” where it should have been “past” though just to keep an eye out for your second one.

This was actually my own daughter.

I really liked this book, but I don’t think I would have been as level headed as Lydia was, had I been in a similar position myself.

4.0 out of 5 starsA Great Start to a New Series

Format: Kindle Edition

Captive Love is the first book in a series that focuses on a set of family and friends, their loves and their travails. In Captive Love, Lydia is kidnapped by a boy who has literally been, unbeknownst to her, stalking her since they were children. He is convinced Lydia and he are a couple and should be living together. The drama surrounding her kidnapping and captivity lead both Lydia and her housemate Rob to reexamine their feelings for each other. Are they really "just friends" or is there something deeper lurking beneath the surface of the relationship. I found this a nice, easy read and a good introduction to what promises to be an excellent series.
