This is a fun little read to teach children that even if you are fidgety and can’t sit still, there are things you can do to stop the fidgeting.
It was a fun book, teaching the kids lots of words too.
I enjoyed the entire book.
Where Alex is given coping strategies by the head teacher rather than being told off and being in trouble.
I enjoyed the entire book.
The author has written other children’s books too.
This children’s book stands in a league of its own.
In summary, I would recommend this book for the following readers:
Children Yes
Young Adult Probably not
Adult Yes, to read to kids
If you like your books to teach you life’s lessons, this book may be the book for you.
I’m certainly looking forward to reading more by this author.
A fun filled tale about a boy with a bad case of the fidgets and his disastrous attempts to control them until the principal steps in with a little help. For all kids with busy bodies.
I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta Canada where I still reside. I grew up working at the racetrack with my fathers horses.
It has long been my dream to start a small press focusing simultaneously on books for children struggling with behavioural/complex needs issues and adult and YA fantasy.
I have been writing for as long as I can remember and working with children dealing with behavioural issues for over a decade. It seemed appropriate to combine my two passions, children and writing. To this end I began Burroughs Manor Press and the website www.solvingbehaviour.com.
I have a deep love of anything fantasy and am an avid reader. I have read Lord of the Rings over a hundred times in my life.
