Short Summary of the book:

Sent to a ravine to die with her team, Eclipse didn’t think she would survive. Now she is in the hands of an enemy and thrown in jail. She can only get out if she betrays her country and pledges her allegiance with a bitter old man with nothing to lose. What will she do?

I liked the book in its entirety. There were several twists and turns.

She couldn't even put together the pieces and fragments that led to her rotting in a cell. None of it made sense. How could she have been so stupid? Of course, there was a way she could get out of this hell hole.
