Short Summary of the book:

This is a story of illicit love and secrets. Friends for life, Michael and the King. But is their friendship just that? And then there are Justin and Harty, is their friendship as platonic as it appears? Not to speak of the secrets hidden from even Michael and Harty.

What I liked about the book:

This was a lovely story.

What I didn’t like about the book:

The book requires some further editing.

Harty is greatly hated by many because of his attitude towards everyone.

He often is cold and mean to everyone except his Justin. That's the only person he shows his other side.

The side that he never shows anyone.

The love of a king and his best friend, knight is put to a slight hold when the king announces that he is to marry a strange bride who no one in the kingdom knows.

The bride that is to be the mother of his future heirs.

The heirs he needs to rule the kingdom in his absence. The absence of life. He will die. Which means he needs to think about the kingdom and not his heart.

His love for the kingdom must come first. And his love for the one he can't live without must come second.
