A post-apocalyptic story with Rose McCready, a witch, and Duncan Morgan as the heroes. Rose had built up a village providing protection for its inhabitants. But then the ghouls gain entrance and devour the villagers. Duncan escapes and saves Rose. Together they fight ghouls and fallen angels.
I enjoyed the entire book.
There was nothing to dislike except the baddies.
How the apparently selfish Duncan risks all to save Rose.
The baddies, but that is exactly what we are supposed to do.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author, but I really enjoyed it.
Although this is a post-apocalyptic story, the involvement of fallen angels is a new angle.
In summary, I would recommend this book for the following readers:
Children No
Young Adult Yes
Adult Yes
If you like post-apocalyptic stories, this book may be the book for you.
I’m certainly looking forward to reading more by this author.
Duncan Morgan and Rose Macready were spending their days surviving in comfort of their make shift town until a deadly plot unveils itself and they both get cast in the mist of Sorath’s sinister plans to rule the Earth. Will they get out of this alive or will they become fodder for Sorath’s ghoulish fallen warriors? This is a End of Days fantasy with an evil twist.
Joshua Griffith is a Native American Cherokee who loves to tell stories about the paranormal and the supernatural, but adds a twist of humor to alleviate some of the inherent drama and suspense that can make the characters seem more relatable. He grew up in eastern part of Oklahoma, witnessing many strange and wondrous things that went bump in the night. Joshua Griffith currently resides in the Pacific Northwest. As part of his path as an energy healer, Joshua Griffith felt it would be good idea to incorporate some of his experiences in his novels. As they say, there's always a hint of truth even in a good work of fiction so it's up to you to decide which is truth and which is hot air. Joshua Griffith invites you to read his stories with an open mind because these tales are works of fiction, but ask yourself this: Could this really happen?
