Jesus the Door to Heaven and to Life
7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

Jesus is the Living Water
7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” 8 (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)
9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)
10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”

Blessed are Those Who Thirst for Righteousness
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
God created the earth and He created righteousness...Righteousness comes from heaven...Jesus told us no one has ever gone into heaven except the One who came from heaven -which is Him...Jesus came from heaven like the rain does -and He reigns down righteousness...When we find God and His righteousness it helps make us complete, and then our lives become abundant...Jesus is our door to His Father... Jesus is also our door to heaven and to righteousness -and He is this door to a full and abundant life...
Jesus tells us that blessed are those who search for righteousness...We are to seek God and to seek His righteousness...This should be a priority in our lives...Jesus (in talking about righteousness) is talking about a spiritual righteousness that people hunger and thirst for...Believers and those who seek the LORD, are searching for this spiritual righteousness, and thirst for it like water...Jesus is the Spiritual Water that quenches this thirst...He quenches our spiritual thirst with His Living Water...Those who earnestly and sincerely hunger and seek Him are blessed...He will fill them with righteousness...
The word blessed that Jesus used in His Sermon on the Mount in St. Matthew's gospel meant happiness (during the His time)...Jesus maybe saying that those who search and seek Him and His word are hungry and thirsty for the Truth and His teachings...When we find Him and get to know Him and have a personal relationship with Him, then only are we completely happy and our lives full... The Light then shines down on us, and brings joy to our hearts...Then we truly are blessed...
