John 4:23-24
God is Spirit and Truth
23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
The information and news on creation seems to grow and be added to ever year, in the growing way of how the beginning of the heavens and earth happened...And I believe, the more we understand about creation, the more we will know about God...And God LOVES science and He wants us to use our minds, as well as our hearts and souls...
A believer in God and an evolutionist can look at the exact same evidence and come up with two completely different ideas and what they think and believe...Author and evolutionary biologist, Richard Dawkins believes that the heavens and earth came into being by a way of chance, randomness and without any purpose, and by evolution...He believe the universe is without design, and thus without a Great Designer, and therefore, without a God...He believes that theory of Darwin gives us all life and all living creatures through a long period of evolution without God's involvement...
As one looks at this belief, or theory, or argument it leaves out many designs and all the arguments that the universe is finely tuned, so mankind can sustain himself on earth...The conditions of the early universe and current universe are exquisitely fine-tuned for life, and for life to sustain itself...One might say that we need food to eat, so that came to us by chance...One might say we need rain to keep this sustainability to keep the food process continuing year after year...On might add we need the sun to also to continue the food process...We might add that we need bees and pollination to continue many foods for sustainability...Where and how did the fruit trees and fruit plants sustain themselves over the centuries?...And this would be a good time to add we need water to drink for our survival...And then we might add that mankind needs oxygen to breathe and that is another random argument that needs to be discussed...When God spoke the heavens and earth into being, He gave gravity just the right strength for mankind to live and walk and run on earth...
Humans are carbon units...Every part of our bodies are chains of carbon...Theologian and scientist Alister McGrath has said, [The entire biological] evolutionary process depends upon the unusual chemistry of carbon, which allows it to bond to itself, as well as other elements, creating highly complex molecules that are stable over prevailing terrestrial temperatures, and are capable of conveying genetic information (especially DNA)...Agnostic Steven Weinberg, a Nobel Laureate in Physics, wrote, ...how surprising it is that the laws of nature and the initial conditions of the universe should allow for the existence of beings who could observe it...Life as we know it would be impossible if any one of several physical quantities had slightly different values...Former chair of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Calvin University is Deborah Haarsma is an experienced research scientist and now President of BioLogos...She has said of course the survivor would look for an explanation for why such an unlikely event occurred!...In the same way, most people are curious to figure out why the universe is the way it is, both scientifically and theologically...
And in all this discussion man was created by God, and God is Spirit...So, I might ask if theology and faith and Spirit is involved in our creation, could there be a point in time where we might not quite understand how creation did happen...First, we were not there when it did happen, but more importantly since creation happened by a Spirit (for those who believe in God and Him creating the heavens and earth and mankind) we are not spirit, but men and women of flesh...So we will need to turn to theology and Spirit to better understand what did happen in the beginning to further our advancements in and about creation...
