John 17:13-19
God's Word is Truth
13 “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
John 14:6-7
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
John 4:21-24
God is Spirit
21 Jesus said, “Believe me, woman! The time is coming when you will not have to be in Jerusalem or on this mountain to worship the Father. 22 You Samaritans worship something you don’t understand. We Jews understand what we worship, since salvation comes from the Jews. 23 But the time is coming when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. In fact, that time is now here. And these are the kind of people the Father wants to be his worshipers. 24 God is spirit. So the people who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Jesus recognized the need for Truth, an Absolute Truth, and an Ultimate Truth...And He knew that God is Spirit, while knowing that His Word is Truth...So Jesus combines Spirit with Truth...And I believe when we combine Spirit with Ultimate Truth, we get the Divine...
Jesus taught His Disciples about the Word of God, and that the Word of God is Truth...And He prayed this prayer for His Disciples: His Prayer was not that God take them out of this world but that He protect them from the evil one...The Disciples were no longer a part of this world, even as I AM not a part of it...Jesus, ask His Father, to sanctify them by the truth; because your word is truth...As God had sent Jesus into the world, Jesus would send His Disciples into the world...For them He would declare Himself holy, that they too may be truly be holy also...
Jesus said the Word of God is Truth...In His Teachings, Truth helped Him reveal His Father...And this meaning and speaking of Truth for Jesus was not done in an abstract way, throughout His teachings...Jesus spoke about God and Truth in a Way that the Truth, the Way, and the Life was a Way to reveal His Father, as the Real Living Existing Father in Heaven...So when Jesus said He is the Truth, the Way, and the Life and no one gets to God except through Him, and that if one has seen Him, then they have also seen God was not an abstraction of His, but a Truth, and a True idea of His that God does exist and does live...And God is Spirit and we must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth...In this there is not only Truth, but also the Sacred and Holy...
