John 4:24 (KJV)
God is a Spirit

Jesus Will Send Us the Spirit from God
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
Matthew 28:16-20
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
The Trinity is a subject that is related to man...We are related to the Trinity, because we are made in the Image of God...So there are some things in and about mankind that are like God's Image...We have a soul, and a heart, which seems to be the center of our Spirituality...We have a Spirit, and we know that God is a Spirit...We have a body, and a mind...We have our five senses...We are somewhat diverse and complex in these respects...
Some people say we are made up of a mind, a body, and a Spirit -as well as being made in God's Image...God is a Spirit, and He gave us a Spirit...So we do have this complexity about us, that God put in us when He created us...
Now God is much more complex than man...That is putting it very simply...Now Jesus said that “The most important commandment is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is One...So Jesus tells us that there is only One LORD and One God...
Isaiah writes that I have not spoken in secret to you from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I; and now the LORD God, and His Spirit, has sent Me...So God is speaking here and He says that from the very beginning that He is the LORD and our God and that it His Spirit that is the One who has sent Him to us...So we know that He has a Spirit and that He is a Spirit...And when Jesus adds that He will send us the Holy Spirit a Comforter, and He will be great Helper to us from His Father -we learn more about the Spirit...We can see that we are then related to the Trinity, since He sends the Holy Spirit...
The Holy Spirit is also known as the Spirit of Truth...The Holy Spirit comes from the Father and the Holy Spirit will guide us to the truth as it concerns Jesus...Jesus says that as His Disciples they will also show others the way to the Truth about His Identity, because His Disciples have journeyed with Him since He started His ministry...After His three years with His Disciples they are ready...His Disciples are prepared to go forth and tell others about God, Him, and the Holy Spirit...And thus Jesus gives them the Great Commission...Jesus after His death and resurrection tells His Disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit...They are to teach others to obey everything that He had commanded them to do... And surely He has been His Disciples and will remain with His followers to the very end of the age...
It seems that God wanted us to have this Holy Spirit so that we might have a personal relationship with us...And He sent His Son to dwell with us to make these things clearer and for us to better understand these things...
