John 4:24
God is Spirit
24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
Genesis 1:1-2
The Holy Spirit Hovered the Waters in the Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
Luke 1:37
Nothing is Impossible for God
37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Luke 1:26-38 (KJV)
The Birth of Jesus Foretold
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
Matthew 5:48 (KJV)
Be Perfect as God is Perfect
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
1 John 4:8 (KJV)
God is LOVE
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.
Matthew 9:10-13
Jesus Came to Earth for Sinners
10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Acts 4:8-12 (KJV)
Salvation is Found Only in Jesus Christ
8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
God is Spirit...And if God is Spirit, then I must believe that His Spirit is Holy...And that He could do many things, including the impossible with the use of His Holy Spirit...So I must believe that the Spirit of God has been with God in the beginning and the Holy Spirit could move upon the face of the waters of the earth in the beginning...
If God can do the impossible then He could impregnate a woman and have a Son by the Holy Spirit...And this would make the Son of God to be born of a virgin...And since the Son of God is born of His Spirit, then the Son is Holy...So those who believe in God can see that the Angel Gabriel's decree affirms the birth of a Holy Son of God...So God's Son would grow up and naturally become a Rabbi, a Traveling Teacher, who would teach about His Father...So if nothing is impossible for God, then He could send a His Son down in the flesh to dwell among us and to teach others about Himself and the True Spirit of God, and to teach us what the Father is really like...And God would be with us, in His Son, and so His Son is also known as Immanuel, which means God with us...
So, if we believe these things then God would have the attributes of a Father, Being himself, a Holy Son, named Jesus, and a Holy Spirit that makes Its way into each of us, and especially to those who seek and follow Him...And thus we can believe that His Holy Son was full of the Holy Spirit...
And we read the God is Perfect and God is LOVE...And we can believe this because One cannot be Perfect if they cannot love or be loved...Love is the most important thing on earth and is mankind's greatest virtue...LOVE is completely giving, and completely forgiving...LOVE can forgive the unpardonable...And God does this through Grace and His Holy ability to forgive...So we can imagine that God is LOVE, and is Completely Forgiving and Full of Grace and is Eternally LOVING is He is Perfect...
God is LOVE, so He must LOVE Someone beside Himself...So as we see God, we can see Him as a Plurality of Entities, a Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit...We see a Loving Father, a Loving Son, and a Loving Holy Spirit...And since we can see this, we see God LOVING His Son, and the Holy Spirit, the Heavenly Hosts of Angels, and LOVING mankind...
In the Garden of Eden, we messed up and fell from His Grace, but He never stopped LOVING us...God is LOVE, so He will always LOVE and LOVE us...God not only shows His LOVE by LOVING sinners, but by sending His Son to save us sinners...Because we need His help...God did not have to send His Son to save us, but He could have sent His Son to condemn us...But God sent His Son to save and LOVE us...His Son is our salvation and their is no other name under heaven, for which we can be saved...
To show us even more about love, His Son teaches us to even love our enemies...God does not want us to harm our enemies but to love them...This gives us a very good idea of who God is...
