John 4:21-26
God is Spirit
21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”
26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”
John 20:19-23
Jesus Appears to His Disciples
21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
Matthew 19:23-26
With God All Things Are Possible
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
God is Spirit...Spirit is outside of the nature we see and are accustomed to...This is because He is Divine...So He can move in and out of the nature He created...But, if God wants to He can come into the nature that He created in the beginning...With God all things are possible...God can intervene into and out of nature if He chooses...
Jesus, when talking to a Samaritan woman, tells us that God is Spirit...He tells her that the time has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in Truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks...God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in Truth...The Samaritan woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) is coming"...And Jesus goes on to tell the Samaritan woman that He is, in fact, the One she is talking about...He is the Messiah...
And Jesus seems to be able to move in and out of nature...One of the examples of this is first appearance to His Disciples...Jesus came and stood among them in the room and they had they doors locked in fear of the Jews...So God seems outside of nature as well as in nature if that is His Will...In the beginning, there was no nature...God is the One who created nature...
God is Spirit...We cannot study things like Spirit, heaven, and things outside of nature without the use of faith...And it is very difficult to study things and understand things that happened in the beginning...
