REFLECTION
Republic Act 10533, which requires its implementation, called the improved K-12 curriculum, the Recommended Curriculum. A lesson plan is an example of a written curriculum that was created when the curriculum started to establish the content and competency criteria for grades K to 12. Then, a written curriculum should include the necessary materials to support it, which is known as a supported curriculum. You must also employ a supported curriculum when presenting a lesson, which is now known as a taught curriculum, where you must put what you have written into practice.
Moreover, as part of the assessed curriculum, a teacher must determine whether the students have understood the lesson by having them complete a quiz or quick task. A teacher will determine if they successfully delivered their lesson in this manner. Then, learned curriculum occurs when students score highly on a quiz, as they merely indicate that they were able to understand the discussion and pick up new information. Last but not least, we have the hidden curriculum, where there are times when we are being taught something even if we were not aware of it. It is not taught, but it does occur frequently; we simply failed to recognize it because it typically occurs in the context of a classroom, an environment, social pressure, etc.
