REFLECTION FOR THIS EPISODE
It is significant that teachers should find out if students understand the lesson while teaching is in progress because teachers cannot just proceed without knowing if the learners really understand the lesson or not. They can only proceed if they already grasp the idea.
Asking "Did you understand, class?" is not enough for the reason that learners can respond "YES" even if they don't mean it. They only respond in that way as they want the teacher to end the discussion/class already. It is better to give them an assessment to evaluate how far they learned as well as to check learners' progress. Students will be given an activity at the end of the lesson proper to assess what learners have learned. This is what I mostly observed and apply in the future.
