Episode 11: Utilizing Teaching-Learning Resources and ICT

Utilizing ICT in teaching-learning process can be a great way to keep the class more engaging and effective considering the fact that young learners nowadays are into technology. Students will analyze and reflect on how technology, including artificial intelligence, supports the teaching-learning process. Increased motivation among students is one advantage of ICT education. It is challenging to engage pupils in a lesson where they only copy what is written on the chalkboard onto their notebooks.

The ability to visually and audibly communicate information to others is another benefit of ICT in education. Students can hear how words are pronounced in the audio when learning English, and three-dimensional images can be exhibited in mathematics. It is challenging to spark conversation in classes where students only read from textbooks, and the teacher frequently presents opinionated lessons. However, interactive lessons between students or between students are made possible by ICT in education. Students will be more satisfied in class if we can foster an environment where learning is enjoyable.
