Cardinal

Throughout its history the village of Cardinal has been known as Edwardsburgh, Point Cardinal, Munro's Point, Elgin, and Port Elgin.  It is part of Edwarsburgh/Cardinal Township and the lands provided to the Loyalists fleeing the United States.

If you're looking for a spot for lunch or a quick nosh, there is a great picnic area at the Cardinal Village Pavilion which sits between the St. Lawrence River and the Old Cardina Canal.
