START SEATED IN A CIRCLE
Which color of the rainbow are you feeling like today and why?
Can you find 1 thing you have in common with each of your teammates?
Lead: Gia McLean
Can anyone name all the GOTR names?
Last week's goal: Practice 5K

How did you celebrate?
Help everyone's Star Power to Shine!
Leader:
"How do you work with others?"
How can you step back and let your team practice teamwork, even (and especially) if they don't "get it right"?
How does our team work well together? What are some areas of growth?
Today's big idea is TEAMWORK! What are some tools we learned at GOTR this season that might help us as a team?
(Show the bean bag/Speaking Star)
This is a special tool to help us communicate with each other. We will use it for the rest of the season, for our first activity, we are going to learn more about the Speaking Star and the rules for using it.
We will start in a circle.
Round 1: We will work together to say the team cheer:
Girls
on
the
Run
is
so
much
Fun!"
As we go around the circle, we will each say ONE word of the cheer. For example, I will start with "Girls" and pass the Speaking Star to the next person and they will say___________ then pass the Speaking Star.
If a mistake is made, we will start over at the beginning where the Speaking Star currently is. The goal is to go around 2 times without any mistakes as fast as possible.
Let's begin....Girls!
