Culinary STEAM: Integrating Cooking, Science, Technology, and Art in the Classroom
Teacher’s Manual
WP3 focuses on creating a comprehensive training program for secondary school teachers to integrate culinary arts concepts into STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) education. Led by GAZIANTEP ANADOLU LISESI in Türkiye, with partners from Slovenia, Poland, and Serbia, it aimed to equip teachers with innovative skills in culinary literacy, nutrition, food safety, and technology. The program included hands-on workshops where teachers combined traditional culinary techniques with STEAM principles. By the end, teachers developed lesson plans and strategies to engage students, fostering a deeper interest in both STEM and culinary arts.
