On October 16, 2024, teachers and students from LOFS gathered for the "Taste of Knowledge" workshop in Warsaw, embarking on an exciting interdisciplinary adventure. Through hands-on activities, they explored the connections between science, cooking, mathematics, history, art, and nutrition.
Participants made traditional placki ziemniaczane and red borscht, using the process to understand chemical and physical reactions, calculate the perfect proportions, examine nutritional values, and learn about the cultural significance of these beloved dishes. The workshop beautifully combined science, creativity, and culinary arts into one enriching educational experience.

On October 14, 2024, Creative Station hosted the "Taste of Knowledge" workshop, bringing together teachers and students from the 14th Belgrade Gymnasium for an interdisciplinary journey through science, cooking, mathematics, history, art, and nutrition.
During the workshop, participants prepared the traditional Slavski kolač, using the process to explore chemical and physical reactions, calculate proportions, analyze nutritional values, and uncover the cultural significance of this traditional dish. This hands-on approach demonstrated how science, art, and culinary skills can seamlessly blend into a unique and engaging educational experience.

Gaziantep Anadolu High School is proudly participating in the Erasmus+ project titled "Taste of Knowledge", which integrates STEAM education with cooking. The project aims to help students explore the cultural and global aspects of nutrition while learning how to maintain a balanced diet.
As part of the initiative, students and teachers attended a unique workshop focused on using pickle-making as a practical way to teach STEAM subjects. Held in the school's biology laboratory, the workshop brought together ten students and five teachers who explored the science behind fermentation and its relevance to nutrition, biology, and chemistry.
This workshop exemplifies how innovative educational methods can bridge the gap between science and everyday life, providing students with a deeper understanding of important concepts through engaging, hands-on activities.

Event Overview
The "Taste of Knowledge" workshop, a key activity under the Erasmus+ "Taste of Knowledge" project, aimed to illustrate how culinary arts can be a dynamic interdisciplinary tool for enhancing natural sciences education. This hands-on workshop introduced teachers to practical examples that link food preparation with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) principles, with a particular focus on integrating digital tools to create an engaging classroom experience.
