Where cooking meets intercultural education and STEM, 

crafting a recipe for empowered, healthy, 

and sustainably-minded European citizens of tomorrow.

The "TASTE OF KNOWLEDGE" project is an innovative educational initiative designed to enrich the learning experiences of secondary school students across Europe. This project uniquely integrates cooking, intercultural education, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), aiming to develop life skills, promote healthy eating and sustainability, and inspire active European citizenship​​.

Aim

The primary objectives include enhancing life skills, encouraging sustainable and healthy eating habits, and motivating students to be engaged European citizens. The project also provides educators with essential resources such as a teacher's manual, lesson plans, and an online course to effectively implement the program​​.

Target Group

The project focuses on secondary school teachers and students (ages 14-18), equipping educators with innovative teaching methodologies and engaging students in interactive learning​.

PROJECT NEWS

TPM 1, Kick Off Meeting

We have officially launched! From 11-13 November we had the incredible pleasure to attend the first partner organisational meeting in Warsaw for our Erasmus+ project TASTE OF KNOWLEDGE. It was a unique experience for us, full of inspiration and energy!

Culinary Day


Warsaw, 19.February 2024 Dive into a culinary adventure at Liceum Fundacji Szkolnej in Warsaw, where the "Taste of Knowledge" project turns cooking into an art and science. 


LTT in Gaziantep


STEAM and Culinary Arts event in Gaziantep, April 17-18, 2024, connected participants from four countries, blending education with cultural and culinary experiences.


Final Meeting in Belgrade

The final TPM 2 meeting of the Erasmus+ project Taste of Knowledge was held in Belgrade, Serbia, on 11-12 September 2024. Key activities, including content development and teacher training, were reviewed.

PROJECT RESULTS

Result 1

eLearning Tool

An eLearning Tool offering online modules on 12 national dishes integrated with STEAM principles, tailored for both teachers and students.


Result 2

Teacher Training Program: 

A structured training program aimed at equipping educators with the necessary skills and lessons to effectively integrate culinary arts and STEM in their teaching practices.

Result 3

Local Pilot Implementation Activities:

 

Implementation of the project in local contexts, allowing for real-world testing and refinement of the educational modules​​.
