The Elkhart Wildcats took on the Meade Buffaloes, fighting hard, but they fell short 46-0. This was the final game of the season, capping off the 2024 season for the Elkhart Wildcats. The Wildcats, unfortunately, have been battling injuries all year. Wide receiver, Elijah Torres, broke his finger in the last game of the season. He played through the game after having it popped back into place. Despite the injuries throughtout the season, we are proud of our Wildcats for never giving up.
The Lady Wildcats played their hardest in their sub state game. Unfortunately, they fell short in sub-state, ending their season. The Lady Wildcats will come back stronger next year and we are ready to cheer them on. Way to play hard and never give up this year, Lady Wildcats! We are proud of you!

Mrs. Otto-Siemens is our new English and Journalism teacher at Elkhart High School. She taught last year in first grade. She went to Northwestern Oklahoma State University where she got an undergrad in Mass Communications and a Masters in Education. She is from Boise City, Oklahoma, but now lives in Elkhart, Kansas. Some interesting facts about her are: she loves golfing and loves being a dog mom to her four fur babies: Mesa Jo, Marley James, Lottie June, and Lucky boy. She said the best thing about her teaching job is, “Watching the students discover new strengths they didn’t know they had.” Her favorite hobby is operating her multiple businesses, she said she is a workaholic. She likes to travel, there is not a place she doesn't want to go. When asked about one experience which gave her a life lesson she will never forget, she smiled and said, “When I started my first business, I went to a bank to ask for a loan, the loan officer said no because I was too young and it wasn't going to work.” She laughed and said, “Here I am, 8 years later, that particular business is successful, plus I own and operate three other businesses. Never ever take no for an answer.” When asked about her biggest influences, she said, "My Mom, Dad, and Grandpa are truly the hardest workers I know. I inspire to have their work ethic." Mrs. Otto - Siemens stated she will never eat mushrooms.
