Alex Pena doesn't know what he wants to do yet, but he has plenty of time to think about it. His hobbies are going to the gym and welding. He wants to go to college at Oklahoma State University for Aerospace Engineering. The friends who had a positive influence on him are Max Gabino, Zane O’Connor, Wesley O’Connor, Sebastian Martinez, Braxon Nairn, and Gavin Serna. How he maintains a good perspective when life gets tough is to lean on some friends. If none are present then he will figure something out. Lastly, his favorite TV show is Law in Order.
Mr. Williams' favorite thing about teaching is the interactions he has with students and says, “He hopes to make a difference.” He is an Elkhart local from the Eva community.
Mr. Williams would like to see students improve their academic performances, which he thinks will carry on into athletics. His biggest inspirations are his mom, dad and his grandparents because they worked very hard and had high expectations for him. One of Mr. Williams' main goals when teaching many kids in different grades is to help them understand they have to try, not just in class, but in general.
He knew he wanted to be a teacher his senior year of high school. He knew he wanted to coach, but didn't realize he would end up liking teaching just as much, maybe even more than coaching. In his free time, which he said he has very little of, he takes care of his family farm and spends time with his kids. His family farm has been in the family for many years, almost one hundred and ten years to be exact, when his great grandfather moved in the early twenties. His words of advice are, “Do not give up, when it looks the bleakest, like you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, sooner or later it will work out. Not everything works out as planned. Always remember, there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Just keep going, keep plugging away, and keep working.”

The Doric Theatre in Elkhart, Kansas will be showing the following films next week:
Joker: Folie à Deux, showing November 8th and 9th. The film is a sequel to the first film which will show a broader view of the relationship between Harley Quinn and the Joker. This interpretation of the Joker is musical, one of the details which has divided opinions and generated expectations among the film's fans. This takes place two years after where the first film left off.
Saturday Night is shown on the 13th and 14th of November. This movie is a masterful cinematic comedy that hits all the right notes. Producer Lorne Michaels managed to navigate a nervous web, bruised egos, an unpredictable cast, a suspicious censor and a whole lot of disaster as the clock ticked down to 11:30 p.m.
Lastly, White Bird will be playing the 15th and 16th of November. The movie is based on the graphic novel by RJ Palacio. It is part of his Wonder universe, which follows Julian after he is expelled for bullying Wonder's main character, Auggie. Julian's French grandmother decides it's time to tell him about her experiences as a Jewish teenager hiding from the Nazis in France during World War II.
