This year's Elkhart High School basketball homecoming theme is “Elkhart the Musical.” Every year during basketball homecoming, 9th grade through 12th grade battle it out with a poster decorating contest. This year we are also including a lip sync battle during the pep rally to match each classes poster theme. The Wildcats take the homecoming poster battle very seriously! As a senior wildcat basketball player, I am really looking forward to the homecoming game. Being my last ever homecoming, it makes it a little more special than usual for me. Knowing our opponents, the Sublette Larks, we have to show up ready to play because they always play hard. We are looking to get even with them, as they beat us in their home gym last year. It would mean a lot to me and the rest of the team if the community came out and supported us. The bigger the crowd the better we play!!
