7.3 Create Interactive Instructional Images

Task

For this task, you will create your own interactive instructional image. This image should be something you can use to teach students content in a way that represents at least one of the 5Es.

As part of this task, you will need to create at least one graphical element using Google Drawings. You can embed your DIY (do-it-yourself) Google Drawing into a Thinglink to build your complete interactive instructional image, or you can just build everything in Google Drawings.

Criteria for Your Interactive Instructional Image:

Your interactive instructional image needs to include the following 5 elements:

  1. One graphical element you created on your own using Google Drawings
  2. One embedded video
  3. One link to an external site
  4. One document file (e.g. PDF, Word, Google Docs, PPT)
  5. Instructional content for student learning

Importantly, your interactive instructional image must follow the Quality Design elements (see Mod 7.2)

Make this a relevant exercise for yourself and create something you know you can use!
